 PRE-NURSING CCMA 
PROGRAM OVERVIEW 

The CNA Capstone Program provides advanced training in both patient care and clinical procedures commonly performed by Medical Assistants. Students will deepen their understanding of human anatomy, triage protocols, and office-based skills such as taking vital signs, performing venipuncture, ECGs, urinalysis, prescription writing, and dosage calculations. The course also covers Medical Law and Ethics, electronic health records, and behavioral health. Students may earn multiple certifications, including CCMA, CPR, HIPAA, FEMA, NHA CCMA, and Bloodborne Pathogens.

  • Medical Terminology - 5274

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant: CCMA - 7164 or

  • Healthcare Specialist Capstone - 7255

 Certifications 

  • CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers

  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant Certification
       (must pass certification exam)

  • Member of HOSA
        (Health Occupations Students of America)
