PREPARING TODAY'S STUDENTS FOR POST SECONDARY-READINESS.
The Hancock County Career Center (HC3) is a collaborative program serving students from Eastern Hancock, Greenfield-Central, New Palestine, and Mt. Vernon high schools. Through hands-on, career-focused education, HC3 helps students gain the skills, certifications, and confidence needed to succeed in today’s competitive workforce and in post-secondary education.
At HC3, students spend half of their school day immersed in one of several career and technical education (CTE) programs, designed to prepare them for high-wage, high-skill, and in-demand careers across industries such as healthcare, construction, manufacturing, information technology, public safety, and more.
Our programs are tailored to meet the diverse goals of Hancock County students — whether they plan to enter the workforce directly or continue on to a two- or four-year college. Each program combines rigorous classroom instruction with real-world learning experiences, giving students a strong foundation in both academic and technical skills.
HC3 students have the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certifications and dual college credits, setting them apart as career- and college-ready graduates. This combination of hands-on experience and academic achievement helps students take the next step toward success — wherever their path leads. Preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s opportunities — that’s the mission of HC3.
