DENTAL CAREERS DENTAL CAREERS PROGRAM OVERVIEW This program introduces students to the field of dentistry through the perspectives of a dentist, dental hygienist, dental assistant, and lab technician. Emphasis is placed on clinical and laboratory environments, equipment and instrument identification, oral anatomy, and sterilization techniques. Additional Coursework Dental Careers Capstone will provide the opportunity for increased skill development in clinical support through work-based learning experiences. Students will also prepare for the Radiation, Health and Safety which is third and final part of the NELDA certification.
