AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Automotive Service I pathway course provides a comprehensive introduction to automotive maintenance, electrical systems, brake systems, and steering and suspension. Students will learn to safely operate industry-standard tools and equipment while gaining hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing modern vehicle systems. Topics include fundamental electrical concepts, braking system theory and repair, driveline service, and steering and suspension diagnostics.
The Automotive Service II pathway builds on skills in the Automotive Service Technology Pathway, focusing on vehicle electrical systems, engine repair, climate control, and driveline service. Students will gain hands-on experience with diagnostics and repair, with opportunities for Co-Op and internships to enhance real-world learning.
