WELDING WELDING 1: PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Welding Pathway - Welding I Program includes classroom and laboratory experiences that develop a variety of skills in oxy-fuel cutting and basic welding. Welding is utilized in many industries, including automotive, construction, manufacturing, shipbuilding, oil refineries, and transportation. Some of the processes students learn in this program are GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, OxyAcetylene cutting, and Plasma Hand CNC cut. AVIATION MANAGEMENT AVIATION MANAGEMENT PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Aviation Management Pathway program provides the student the opportunity to develop an understanding of various aspects of the aviation industry to include general regulations and laws associated with the field. Included is an overview of the aviation field and employment opportunities. AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES AUTOMOTIVE SERVICES PROGRAM OVERVIEW The Automotive Service I pathway course provides a comprehensive introduction to automotive maintenance, electrical systems, brake systems, and steering and suspension. Students will learn to safely operate industry-standard tools and equipment while gaining hands-on experience in diagnosing and repairing modern vehicle systems. Topics include fundamental electrical concepts, braking system theory and repair, driveline service, and steering and suspension diagnostics.
